Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall delivery of nursing care of the department and works under the direction of the Manager of Home Care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- B.S., R.N. with current Massachusetts License
- Experience
- Minimum of two years home health experience; 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Massachusetts
- Skills
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and interpret agency polices and procedures.
- Demonstrated excellence in the practice of public health nursing.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with the team environment.
- Strong computer, organizational, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of home care regulations as related to delivery of care.
