SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Greeting customers and assisting them in their needs
• Meeting requirement production speed at sorting, cutting arid stocking loads
• Ensure proper rotation, blocking/facing and Grocery Best Practice standards are met.
• Proper working of back stock
• Work in an organized, safe and clean manner
• Know store procedure for new items, miss-picks and stocking discrepancies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
