Join the New Braunfels, TX team for the exciting journey of a new facility start-up (Greenfield). The $110 million facility will manufacture Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving. Join the Continental team that manufactures products that save lives everyday!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for cost, timing and quality of New Product Launch activities in the location
- Primary interface between manufacturing and design teams
- Involved with customer communications/meetings associated with NPL activities
- Ensure compliance to Lean concepts
- Support Group wide metrics
- Drives to completion installation of new lines
- Responsible for driving product DFM improvements
- Responsible for driving NPL builds to completion and resolving open issues
- Develops line concepts in conjunction with plant wide support organizations
- Utilize LSR and BQR tools to ensure clear communication of a program’s status to upper management
- Responsible for eliminating Excess and Obsolete Material associated with the introduction of Model rolls and new programs
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
- 2 years experience leading engineering projects and/or new program launches
- Ability to complete task with minimal supervision
- Excellent leadership skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Clear, written and verbal communication

Preferred Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience leading new program launches
- Knowledge of SAP systems
