As the New Car Sales Manager at Milton Martin Honda, you will assist in the daily operations of the Sales and F&I team, to ensure they deliver an extraordinary customer experience. We expect our New Car Sales Manager to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the position. Our New Car Sales Manager reports to our General Sales Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees all actions and interactions regarding the sale of new cars
  • Assist sales associates in closing deals
  • Hires sales associates
  • Orders all new car inventory
  • Management of all new car marketing to increase sales
  • Pencils new car deals
  • Ensure attendance at weekly sales meetings for self and sales associates
  • T.O. all new car customers
  • Processes all dealer trade transactions
  • RDR’s all-new car sales
  • Enforces the new car sales process
  • Motivates sales associates
  • Maintains excellent CSI, sales, and gross targets set by the manufacturer and upper management
  • Conducts one-on-one with sales associates and creates individual development plans as needed to assist in obtaining sales goals
  • Understand and communicate the new car programs and incentives being offered by Honda
  • Packages and submits all new car deals to F&I for further processing.
  • Ensures dealership compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintains training compliance required by federal law as well as training dictated by Honda for self and sales associates
  • Manages sales associates' daily performance, training, compliance, and growth
  • Other Duties as assigned by the General Sales Manager
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Strong understanding of automotive F&I
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and process-driven environment
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report
  • Must consent to background and drug screening
  • Experience working as a Honda New Car manager is preferred but not required

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Environment & Physical Demands

Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
