Position Overview
Infinity is seeking Network Analyst/Operator to support the newly awarded NISSC II contract. Your career at Infinity enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

Primary Responsibilities
The Network Analyst/Operator at Cheyenne Space Force Station (CMSFS) will be responsible for proving mission-critical voice and data services communication for 800+ circuits supporting customers at CMSFS and around the world. Included in these responsibilities will be to sustain, troubleshoot, and repair standard voice and data network infrastructure systems and cryptographic equipment. Tech Control Facility is a 24×7 high operational tempo working environment. here are set 12 hours working shifts, 3 or 4 days per week. With a maximum of 84 working hours every 2 weeks.
Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required to include nights, weekends and holidays on a modified Panama schedule.

Typical Duties Include:
As a Network Analyst/Operator your duties include but not limited to:

  • Review and analyze system, trunk, circuit, and equipment performance
  • Coordinate and assist in troubleshooting, isolating, repairing, and correcting network systems and circuit errors
  • Create and update outage tickets and shift logs
  • When necessary, brief leadership of circuit/equipment status
  • Daily Crypto loads to equipment (KIV-7Ms, KIV-19Ms, KG-175s, KG-255s, etc.) and associated COMSEC paperwork

Minimum Qualifications
As a Network Analyst/Operator your minimum responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Basic knowledge of handling COMSEC materials
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and network principles
  • Experience working with network transport equipment in a large Defense Information Systems Agency NOC
  • Basic understanding of the following technologies: OSI, TCP/IP, and various layer 2 protocols
  • CCNET certified or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Basic understanding platforms such as Radius and/or TACACS
  • Familiar working in a data center/long-haul transport environment
  • Knowledge of serial data interfaces, cat-X, fiber, and MPLS/CISCO/SYCAMORE/CIENA Long-Haul Transport mechanisms
  • Basic Linux/UNIX skills ideal but not essential
  • Able to analyze problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal)
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing own workload
  • Self-motivated
  • Capable of working/using own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Keen to contribute ideas, share knowledge and help others develop
  • Interest in leading edge technologies
  • Keen to develop own skills and knowledge
  • DoD IAT Level II or higher and Juniper OS Certifications are required

Preferred Qualifications
Preferably, this Network Analyst/Operator should have the following:

  • Experience with DISA processes and procedures
  • Experience with using specialized test equipment (Oscilloscope, Protocol Analyzer, Fireberd, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Juniper products to include routers, switches, and Circuit to Packet (CTP) equipment
  • FaCIT (Facility Circuit Information Tracking) System
  • Experience with RedHat Linux
  • Basic knowledge of signal flow
  • Basic knowledge of transport circuit layout drawings/records

Education/Experience
Associates degree in a computer field or in lieu of degree, equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
