We are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a team force of approximately 550 people across different teams. Our products are sold through TV, our website, major OTAs, OTT, marketplaces, and social media.
We are the US retailing unit and subsidiary of Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL). The other retailing units of VGL Group are in the UK (Shop TJC) and Germany (Shop LC, Germany). Together, all the units ship out approximately 50,000 pieces of products to their customers in the US, UK, and Germany every day. ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Network Administrator I, you will maintain computer systems and servers by installing, maintaining, and upgrading servers. This includes supporting hardware, for a 24/7 nationally broadcasted home shopping network.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replaces defective components when necessary.
  • Configures, monitors, and maintains email applications or virus protection software.
  • Operates master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, coordinate computer network access, and use.
  • Configures, and tests computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Confers with network users about how to solve existing system problems.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator.
  • Working experience in FortiGate firewall, Network, Local Servers, Link balancer/Load balancer, LAN, Switching, VLAN, Access controller.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least one certification including: Microsoft MCP/MCSE, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTia Network+ or A+.
  • Windows Domain Administration (DNS, Active Directory, Domain Policies).
  • Active Directory Domain experience.
  • Outlook and Exchange experience.
  • IT network support.
  • Multi-officece network with Windows PCs systems.
  • IT network security support.
  • LAN / WAN network administration.
  • Microsoft technologies.
  • Active directory.
  • Server 2008, 2012.
  • Windows 7.
  • SQL, AD, File Share Servers, TS.
  • MS Office Suite.
  • Security camera system, troubleshooting, installation.
  • Mobile device management including iOS, iPad, iPhone.
  • Server room maintenance.
  • Cable management.
  • Temperature control.
  • APU battery backup testing and maintenance.
  • Strong customer service orientation, good written and oral communication skills in both English, keen attention to details with strategic and holistic mindset, self - motivated and directed.
  • Knowledge of computer, printers, Wi-Fi and laptops.
  • Oral and written communication, professional, and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist customers in person, on phone, and live chat, email, social media, and web form submissions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment. Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
