National Account Manager-Long Term Housing
What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Long Term Housing National Account Management within our ALE division. This position falls under our lodging line of business and is located in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will have a smaller base of accounts that consists of higher, top tier clients that are more complex and utilize a high proportion of ALE products. You will also be a trainer for the team and serve as a mentor for trainees. You will report directly to Director of Customer Success and regularly collaborate with Customer Success Team.

Role Responsibilities
  • Serving as the single point of contact for insurance carrier and their adjusters.
  • Advocating between the Insurance Company and the policyholder on housing needs.
  • Maintaining and build relationships with insurance company and adjusters as their single point of contact (SPOC) leading to the development of new business.
  • Ensuring the proper coordination/communication with other team members who provide the policyholder with services, including but not limited to hotel coordinators, relocation specialists, furniture, move-out coordinators, bookkeeping, and client services.
  • Accepting full responsibility for execution of the claims process per carrier contract terms, includes but not limited to:
  • Responding promptly upon initial request from adjuster and record information accurately.
  • Confirming adjuster contact information and preferred contact method.
  • Verifying source of security deposit.
  • securing pre-approval amount.
  • Providing daily update to adjusters each morning.
  • Monitoring the hotel activity on any LTH+ Hotel files and provide approvals/instruction to the hotel team as applicable.
  • Preparing accurate pre-apps to adjusters for approval.
  • Reviewing and execute client legal documents, i.e. THA & PLC.
  • Reviewing and process all initial check requests for property set-ups.
  • Monitoring the HNAM’s billing duties to ensure timely invoicing to the adjusters; assist the HNAM with billing duties as needed.
  • Reviewing invoices to guarantee accuracy prior to sending to adjuster for any invoices that are to be sent by the NAM only.
  • Monitoring and implement timely collection activities.
  • Monitoring the ANAM’s move out duties to ensure timely extensions and move out processes; assist the ANAM as needed with this duty.
  • Handling any file issues that are escalating on the back end of files.
  • Assisting with the professional development of the assigned HNAM.
  • Providing timely communication and support to the sales department (may include business travel).
  • Maintaining ACT Placement Database.
  • Reporting to Management of team progress
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Significant ALE experience and hotel NAM/A experience strongly preferred.
  • Significant familiarity with the ACT database.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proven history of critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Multitasking.
  • Ability to self-motivate and also motivate others.
  • Exhibits strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and sound judgement.
  • Ability to mentor and supervise staff.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with internal and external people in the course of work.
  • Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five plus years of related job experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face to face.
