Job description
Hermiston School District is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic candidate to coach Baseball at the middle school level. This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional coach who has demonstrated the abilities, skills, and knowledge to coach within our quality program. Two (2) positions available.
Sandstone Middle School is one of two middle schools in the Hermiston School District serving a population of ~570 students.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful Softball/Baseball coaching experience.
- Must possess a current working knowledge of the fundamentals and rules of baseball.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate professional growth and development
- Must demonstrate an understanding of training related to the sport of baseball
Personal Traits:
- Has a positive attitude and is an inspiring and enthusiastic leader
- Is a team player dedicated to excellence in all phases of the educational program
- Has the ability to plan effectively and is well organized
- Has the ability to communicate effectively
- Has a caring attitude and sensitivity toward people
