Shift Requirements
1st ShiftABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an entry level position that would work with experienced Maintenance Technicians to gain valuable on the job training. In addition to on the job training, a successful candidate will be sponsored to participate in the Maintenance/Millwright apprenticeship program at a local technical college. A requirement of this role is an acceptable attendance record and a minimum of 2.0 GPA for coursework

- Fork truck operation (ORBIS internal training)
- Crane operation (ORBIS internal training)
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Technical college classes in Maintenance or related fields, work experience in related fields
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of ISO or QS 9000
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent math skills
- Working knowledge with MS Office programs-Excel and Word
- Basic computer skills-email and file saving
- Safety awareness and familiar with OSHA regulations
- Organized person with strong analytical skills
- Relationship development skills
- Dependable self-starter with good attendance record
- Ability to work independently
- Proactive person, adept at understanding manufacturing processes
- Detail-oriented and willing to follow through completely on assigned projects
