Job description
- Minimum B.A. in Education with Secondary English endorsement/emphasis
- Hold or be able to obtain Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License in Secondary English Education from Colorado Department of Education or another elementary or secondary license with a minor in English or 24 semester hours in English.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience in Middle School English.
- Computer and Technology skills preferred.
- Able to work as a team member/experience with Middle School teaming and Middle School English preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Coaching available.
- All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Education.
- Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment.
- No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re 8 buildings.

POSITION: Middle School English/Language Arts
SALARY RANGE: School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. Salary Range of $41,500 - $89,537 (this based on 22-23 salary schedule, 23-24 salary schedule will be used for final offer) depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for tuition reimbursement. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule. This will be based on education and experience.
