Merchandise Technician – Bealls/Burkes Outlet Stores (West Coast Office)
FUNCTION:
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:
- Perform data entry functions, such as item declaration, purchase order entry and maintenance/inquiry, price changes/markdowns and transfers.
- Perform word processing tasks, such as bulletin submittal forms, memos and recaps.
- Generate Buyer’s itinerary for their market trips.
- Filing, report and mail distribution, office administration.
- Provide vendors with selling information, order information, pre-ticket information, and check delivery of on-order.
- Resolve purchase order discrepancies with vendors.
- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders.
- Sample management including requests, returns to vendors and stores transfers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have some retail experience.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent in English.
