Medical Receptionist

United Health Services is now hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our team. Shifts: Days, generally 8am-5pm
Hours per week: 40
Salary Range: $16.35 - $22.13

Overview

A medical receptionist is the customer service liaison to each of our practices. As the first point of contact, the MR will greet each patient with courtesy and warmth, using exceptional communication skills, and live our values of Compassion, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation.

The purpose of this position is to provide our patients with a seamless and hospitable experience providing patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing, while supporting administrative tasks as requested by leadership.

Position Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Candidate must be able to commute to Binghamton, NY

Preferred:

• Previous medical, administrative and customer service experience
• Proficient PC skills in Excel and Word
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and EPIC software
