We are currently seeking a full-time Payment Poster to join our Billing Department in Winter Park, FL. The ideal candidate will combine an engaging personality with an ability to maintain organization in a busy environment. This customer-oriented individual will also be able to meet the following job description and possess the following skills requirements. An extensive training program will ensure proficiency prior to independent work.
With this position, you will be working under the supervision of the Manager to ensure accurate payment posting. The ability to correctly read Explanation of Benefits is key. This position also requires excellent organization skills and the ability to solve problems. The ideal candidate must be able to work as a team and follow company policies & procedures.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Posting of all Insurance checks according to the correct benefit level as well as leaving back the correct patient responsibility- Posting of all Patient Payments to the correct dates of services billed
- Posting of Denials
- Process all approved adjustments
- Download all available ERAs
- Billing Secondary/Tertiary Insurances
- Run, analyze and balance reports of your posting
- Must be able to Navigate through Insurance websites for payment processing
- Must be able to notate accounts accordingly
- Must be able to research payments
- Must be able to communicate any payment errors or irregularities to supervisor
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Payment Posting experience required
- Knowledge of Payment Guidelines
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Efficient and accurate data entry
- Must have computer skills
- Must be able to work with high volume of work
- Ability to meet daily, weekly, monthly deadlines as assigned.
- Knowledge in CollabrateMD and Revflow a plus
