We have an immediate non-remote opportunity to join our growing company in our internal Medical Insurance Billing department. We are currently seeking full-time (M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm) Medical Billing Specialists for our Tracy office.
Job Responsibilities:
Verify medical eligibility; benefit coverage and authorization requirements online or phone.- Obtain authorization if required by plan via fax, email, or online.
- Process files within predesignated deadlines.
- Contact patients to obtain information to process insurance claims or bill patients accordingly.
- Contact Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations and process accordingly.
- Preform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent- Typing minimum of 50 words per minute
- 1-2 Years of Medical Billing Experience Preferred
Hourly Rate of Pay: Competitive hourly wage, with a monthly bonus opportunity
