Job description
Veritas Healthcare is looking for medical assistants to assist with administering Covid-19 Tests, and inputting data into an EMR. Veritas operates out of mobile clinics at sites across Los Angeles, this role will be in the Pomona area.
Responsibilities
- Reliable form of transportation to get to each location
- Taking mid-nasal swab samples on clients
- Assisting with Saliva testing
- Running tests through medical equipment
- Input of data into an EMR
Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Medical Assistant Certification
- No minimum MA experience
- Must have own vehicle
- Professional attitude, ability to maintain confidentiality, following HIPAA
- Demonstration of mature judgment and attention to detail, organized, ethical and reliable
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and friendly manner
- Spanish language is plus
- Experience in administration of flu shots desirable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
