Medical Assistant

We have an opening for Medical Assistant. Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) Experience preferred , attention to detail a must Front desk duties (check patients in/out answering phones, verifying patient eligibility with their insurances, scheduling , data entry , scanning, and others) English &Spanish Preferred . Flexibility a plus and great attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine medical care to patients
• Prepare and clean instruments used for medical procedures
• Assist nurses with a variety of tasks
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment
• Prepare and dispose of hazardous waste materials
• Answer telephone, respond to requests and messages, schedule appointments, and
• Assist staff with other general clerical duties
• Schedule appointments
• Obtain blood samples
• Perform data entry
• Measure and record vital signs
• Clean exam rooms
• Answer phone calls

Work Schedule would be as follows: (Extra time should be allowed to ensure the last patient is complete)

M (8am - 6pm)

T (8am - 5pm)

W (8am - Noon)

T (8am - 5pm)

F (8am - 5pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
