Oxford Instruments is looking for a motivated and organized individual to coordinate operations of the sales and service logistics between our Concord, MA office, our customers, and our oversees manufacture sites. The Materials Coordinator position is a great opportunity to grow your professional skills while getting to know the inner workings of a high-tech manufacturing company and our products. This position will require a full-time onsite work schedule at the Oxford Instruments Concord, MA office.

The Role:
Work with customs brokers on incoming shipment details
Manage international shipments from all international Oxford Instrument manufacture sites to the USA
Provide packing, logistics and other support as needed for shipping and receiving.
Commercial Invoice preparation
Support incoming and exporting shipping invoices process
Cycle counting on site service inventories
Sales Order Management review and status processing
Purchase order review and processing
Proven understanding of ERP and warehouse management systems.
Assist with other duties as required.

The Candidate

Successful candidates will have:
A high school education, bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years global logistic forwarding management experience and/or experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
Import Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code understanding
International and Domestic freight forwarding knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail is a must
The ability to collaborate across departments and with multiple teams on a wide variety of tasks.
