Schedule
: Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Potential for evenings and weekends.

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt

Reports to:
Property Manager

Responsibilities:
The marketing assistant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: implementing and planning marketing efforts, including renewal campaigns; building relationships within the local businesses, port, Chamber of Commerce, and with university groups and organizations; assisting with social media and digital marketing campaigns; providing unparalleled customer service while abiding to all Affinity policies and Fair Housing laws; participating in weekly staff meetings and required trainings; and conducting all functions necessary to close the sale including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining show rooms, and completing any required prospect follow-up in a timely and accurate manner.


Marketing and Public Relations:

Create marketing plans and ensure execution of all tactics outlined

Plan and implement social media campaigns

Plan and implement renewal leasing campaigns

Fostering relationships with the local community

Complete quarterly market surveys


Resident Relations and Customer Service:

Maintain a positive and professional relationship with every resident to spread positive word of mouth

Create resident VIP programs

Establish relationships with key individuals at the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses that are hiring employees


Admin/General

Create and provide weekly marketing report updates

Complete tasks as assigned by your Property Manager

Notify Property Manager of any office supplies, lease forms, and/or marketing materials to be ordered

Assist the office is opened and closed at the designated times and that opening/closing checklist is followed


Leasing:

Conduct tours, pursue the close of each sale, perform follow ups, and complete leasing paperwork with prospective residents

Partner with Property to ensure marketing materials are up to date


Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Outlook, Word)
Applied understanding of basic marketing principles and graphic design
Proficient in social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, TikTok, Instagram)
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Ability to communicate effectively in various functions
Ability to multi-task in a timely and accurate manner
