As a Marketing Communications Manager within Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) you will serve as a leader for the management of marketing communications in support of Aftermarket initiatives while managing a global team of 10+ Marketing Consultants and one leader to execute a strategy focused on business results. You will create marketing strategies with a focus to grow product/service awareness, customer engagement and eCommerce sales through physical and digital channels.

This position will partner closely with CISD Services Development & Sales Executions, Cat Digital, Marketing & Brand, and Cat Financial as well as GCI and BCP marketing teams. Further, you will support the execution of all programs by leveraging data analytics, utilizing marketing technology platforms, understanding product group and industry team insights all while managing relationships with agency partners and aligning to target budgets.

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

• Lead team to develop strategic global & regional marketing promotion plans supporting key CISD initiatives such as eCommerce customer activation and sales growth

• Actively measure marketing performance KPIs such increasing customer leads, growing/maintaining Active Marketable Contacts (opt-in consent), and driving eCommerce marketing sales

• Manage local marketing agency partners to assure effective execution

• Work with many different business partners across the enterprise and CISD marketing team to identify Aftermarket needs and priorities focused on retail/small core/core customer segments

• Guide team through change management and to help overcome roadblocks as needed

• Work with senior management to achieve objectives for the division

• Present to senior leadership often on progress and results of initiatives

• Manage marketing budget

• Travel globally 25%+
  

Required Qualifications:

• College or university degree

• 12+years of job-related marketing experience INCLUDING 3+ years of digital marketing experience

• Project leadership experience

• Global travel required 25%+
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience marketing / promoting new commercial / integrated services / digital offerings

• Experience in marketing strategy and execution (marketing tactics, channel strategy, lead generation/sales conversion, branding, marketing analytics, and budget management)

• Understanding of marketing data compliance and marketing metrics

• Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead team and deliver results

• Global experience

• Commitment to inspire and develop other

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy

• Thorough knowledge of the Dealer network, products, technologies, services and supporting digital systems

• Previous experience in Marketing & Sales and field or aftermarket roles

• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to lead change, professionally challenge traditional thinking, drive innovation in products and services (including Digital), coach and development team members, effectively work alongside key business partners (internal and external) and ensure that the team is focused on driving results

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to deal with issues crossing boundaries and/or persuade others inside or outside the organization to take action
  

Additional Information:

• This position will accept applications through the late evening of May 7th, 2023

• This is a global position whose success depends on global travel. It is an expectation and requirement of the role to travel a minimum of 25% of the time
