Description:

• Manufacturing value add layout work to determine feasibility of different manufacturing scenarios
• Conducting local (on-site) feasibility scenarios to determine the best balance of new manufacturing footprint with existing manufacturing footprint (XQ Rental Product with Current Genset Product)
• Time studies of current product to determine what steps need to be taken to weave the product line together to leverage process and product commonality (line balancing)
• Submitting local RFQs (request for quotes) regarding tooling, fixturing, cranes, and misc. manufacturing components
• BOM analysis to eliminate redundancy and optimize current product and new product (XQ) as it relates to Griffin processes
• Facilitating the physical moves of current value streams once a finalized layout is determined. This could include moving production lines from one building to another
• Coordination of Process Planning work once a high-level layout is determined
• Plan the logistical process execution and lead the change once implemented
• Full BOM analysis of XQ20 through XQ425 and define common POU strategies for all models transitioning to Griffin (may require designing and procuring custom kitting solutions)
• Provide technical documentation to support XQ transition (planning work, PFMEA, SFMEA, visual aids, etc) for all models
