Enrollment Management

This position serves as the Manager of Visitor Relations, managing more than 100 student leaders serving as MU's Tour Guides. This position is responsible for the supervision, training and mentoring of these students. The position manages Tour Team scheduling, coordinates elementary through high school group visits and campus tours for the daily campus visits for prospective students and their families. This position sits on the Admissions leadership team and provides input regarding short term and long term enrollment goals. This position is vital to the strategic enrollment goals of the University of Missouri.

• Coordinates 116 student Tour Team guides and six student managers. Manages student staff scheduling for daily campus tours, event tours, groups and departmental tours by utilizing the Slate CRM and Humanity software. Position is a critical part of the Admissions leadership team and helps develop the recruitment plan to reach enrollment goals of the University.
• Monitors student work performance and discipline of student staff. Ongoing development of training program and incentive to keep student staff engaged and enthusiastic about selling the university.
• Coordinates group visits to campus, including elementary through high school groups and community based organizations (CBO). Position maintains communication with schools and CBOs. Develops detailed itineraries for groups and is the primary contact for all external groups requesting tours of Mizzou's campus. This position collaborates with the schools/colleges' departments and faculty to schedule academic appointments and special tours for visiting groups.
• Recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring of new tour guides throughout the year. Makes decisions on student salaries, retention plans and coordinates student access to necessary buildings.
• Works in public facing role, answers general calls into the university and walk-in student, parent, alumni and general foot traffic to Jesse Hall. This position manages the online virtual campus tour.
• Admission decision file reading. Position holistically reads test optional admission files and makes admit or deny decisions.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred candidate will have at least five years experience supervising multiple college students in a higher education setting and at least 3 years of project coordination experience.
