Job Description
The Contracts organization is the trusted business partner managing customer relationships, negotiating deals, creating innovative solutions, and providing regulatory knowledge to our customers. The position will be the primary point of contact between the company and customer for contractual matters and will draft, prepare, and execute certain internal and external correspondence, NDAs, and other contractual matters with increasing levels of autonomy.

• Work generally involves independent judgment and analysis of issue identification and resolution.
• Prepare Customer Proposals as assigned to ensure they are prepared and submitted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual provisions, and Company policy.
• Lead contract negotiations and collaborate with customers in defining contracts under general guidance from the Contracts Manager
• Draft, prepare and execute internal and external correspondence on contractual matters
• Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with the contract requirements and Company policies and procedures. Serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and sufficient years of relevant Contract Management experience or equivalent experience.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and customers.
• Makes informed decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent organizational and follow through skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Knowledge of DoD contracting
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
• Knowledge of International contracting
• MBA, CFCM, or JD Degree
• Knowledge of cost-type contracts
