Maintenance & Technology Distributor/Coordinator

The Ross Business Group operates over a dozen restaurants under the McDonald’s flag. The Maintenance & Technology Distributor/Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the internal and external maintenance technicians. This individual is responsible for ensuring preventive maintenance programs that prolong the life of the equipment while also improving operational efficiency are performed as scheduled. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of digital menu boards, and kitchen monitors, as well as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration equipment, grills, fryers, and more. This position is responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with vendors, employees, and guests.

  • Maintenance & Technology Distributor/Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates installations, repairs, and maintenance machinery and mechanical equipment by directing preventive maintenance.
  • Locates sources of problems by receiving descriptions of problems.
  • Directs others to dissmantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
  • Maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies, by checking stock and placing orders.
  • May coordinate work on POS systems, digital menu boards, kitchen monitors, and other electronic equipment, with direction from OTP2 and/or OTP3.
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends (Repair vs. Replace Analysis).
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contacts and coordinates outside vendors to repair or replace equipment.
  • Delegates appropriately, with clear and concise instructions.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with vendors, employees, and guests.
  • Significant calendar management, decision-making, communication, and follow-up skills required.

Work Hours : Predicted to be a standard 40-hour workweek, including some weekends. Overtime can often be required due to unexpected maintenance issues.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ experience working with maintenance programs.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Maintenance Technician: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
