Keystone Powdered Metal Company a world leader in the Powdered Metal Industry has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor at its Cherryville NC location. Since 1927 Keystone has pioneered many advancements in technology and products in the PM industry. Today Keystone is part of Sumitomo Electric’s Industrial Materials segment which has thirteen P/M companies located in nine different countries around the world. Keystone operates plants in St. Marys and Lewis Run, Pennsylvania and Cherryville North Carolina and Troutman, NC

Job Overview

· At our Cherryville location we manufacture powder metals components for industry leading automotive OEMs. In this role you will oversee all aspects of maintenance, preventative maintenance and Kaizen activities for the department. You will ensure all manufacturing and secondary operations are ready for daily usage.

Core Responsibilities

· Direct maintenance technicians to ensure equipment uptime resulting in maximum quality and productivity.

· Work closely with Engineering and Operations daily.

· Implement, administer, maintain current preventative maintenance efforts, while utilizing Kaizen process to drive continuous improvements.

· Maintain direct variable costs.

· Supervise and perform work on equipment in relation to troubleshooting, machine repairs, major & minor component replacement.

· Support OSHA compliance, Safety, and Company policies.

· Develop equipment maintenance procedures as required.

· Ensure that all subordinates are informed of and adhere to all pertinent company rules, regulations, procedures and policies.

· Work closely with Plant Manager on design & execution of capital projects.

· Develop & Implement Training Plans for Maintenance Personal.

Other Responsibilities

· Utilize LN to create PR and other accounting items.

· Support internal CQI9, IATF, ISO and Environmental audits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $100.00 per hour
