Mission
- The mission of the Maintenance Manager is to provide safe and well-maintained facilities that create an inviting atmosphere in which Bethany members and the community can grow in Christian.
Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance – assumes responsibility for minor maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems of the church and parsonage in accordance with established procedures.
- Keep the church administrator informed of problems, solutions and assistance needed in all maintenance functions of the church.
- Perform minor maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems of the church.
- Coordinates with vendors as needed who perform maintenance for Bethany
- Observe and recognize potential safety and health hazards and take immediate corrective actions to eliminate un-safe situations or conditions.
- Co-ordinate equipment and furniture setup as event calendar dicates.
- Assist office personnel in any way that is consistent with this job description.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Perform administrative duties
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with volunteers and congregation
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in Building Maintenance
- Hands-on experience with minor repairs associated with a commercial facility
- Knowledge of a HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing concepts
- Familiarity with security, fire and safety regulations
