LPN PRIVATE DUTY Household Employer Julie C. – Dade City, FL

Family located in the Dade City, FL area in need of 24/7 skilled nursing care for

Our medically, physically, and developmentally disabled, young adult son in our comfortable country home.

Has his own home on our property with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, hospital beds, pulse oximeter, suctioning, No communicable disease.

Family and current team of nurses will help train nurses.

Routine care includes:

• Feeding via feeding pump & G-tbe

• Administering medications

• Vitals per shift change

• Oral suctioning

• Frequent CPT

• Oral care

• Nebulizer treatments

• Range of motion & exercise

• Inspire and daily activities

• Position changes

• Brief changes and toileting

• Bathing - showers

• Assessment

• Charting

Ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Reliable

• Pleasant demeanor

• Compassionate

• Excellent caregiving skills

• Independent worker that interacts well patient, other nurses & family members

• Flexible Schedule

Shifts:

• 7a-7p & 7p-7a

• Ability to trade shifts with other nurses or Fill-in for other nurses’ when needed is appreciated

Financials:

• Pay ranges from $24-$25 per hour additional pay for 9 holidays

• Bi-weekly direct deposit

• Nurses are independent contractors/self-employed

• CDC+ is payor (http://www.apdcares.org/cdcplus/)

Requirements:

• Current Florida LPN Nursing License

• Current Level 2 Background Screening

• Covid Negative

• Current CPR

• Current TB test

• HIV Certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour
