Job Summary:

Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from the Davis warehouse to their appropriate destinations. Class C Drivers transport materials using a box truck and may have to occasionally unload using a liftgate and/or pallet jack. This position serves as the public face of the company and strives to provide customers with world-class service in a professional manner. Drivers are committed to following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure the security of cargo.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform pickups and deliveries as assigned
• Comply with all road laws and safety regulations
• Follow specific handling instructions
• Maintain an up-to-date Fuel Log
• Perform and record daily truck inspections to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
• Notify dispatch team of any discrepancies, issues, or delays
• Keep track of all assigned jobs through our freight management app
• Obtain proofs of pickup or delivery
• Turn in all hard copy PODs to dispatch team by end of day
• Handle freight by hand when necessary

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 10:00 AM start time, Occasional weekend work (*ending hours vary depending on volume of freight*)

Pay Starting At: $20-$25/ hour, depending on experience

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Box Truck Driving Experience (1 year minimum)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting on a truck
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
