We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Loader/Unloader. This role is based in our facility in Janesville, Wisconsin, and reports to the Fabrication Manager.

Job Summary

We are seeking an upbeat individual who will be responsible to fulfill, process and complete customer orders accurately and efficiently! This includes handling stock, verifying content quality and packaging inventory with the utmost attention to detail.

Principal Responsibilities

• Accurately pull customer orders and process for shipment by identifying products with attention to detail
• Capable of lifting up to 80lbs consecutively
• Ability to follow timelines and schedules
• Package and process orders through UPS computer system
• Help direct workflow to meet shipping schedules
• Track order information into dispatch system for reporting
• Preparation of final shipping documents, bills of lading and any export paperwork
• Serve as liaison to customer service for order information
• Coordination with Freight Lines on completed or scheduled orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Must be eager to learn, excited to work on a team, and have good written and verbal communication skills
• Other duties as the need arises and/or assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrates the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Work Environment

• Must be able to perform job responsibilities safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting (to a maximum of 80 lbs).
• Incumbent may be subject to fluctuations of temperature and conditions corresponding to seasonal weather patterns.
• The use of standard personal protective equipment is used and includes some of the following: safety goggles, gloves (cotton & rubber), ear plugs, and safety shoes.
