Job description
- NIGHT SHIFT POSITION
- $1500 sign-on bonus paid out over 90 days
- Schedule is 4days on/4days off (12hr shifts)
- Pay $26/HR plus shift differential
SAFETY
- Working safely is first priority
- Attend daily safety meetings and perform site inspections
EQUIPMENT OPERATION
- Operate the loader in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily equipment inspections pre and post shift
- Understand and follow direction from supervisor
- Operate loader on public and private roadways, maintaining awareness of surroundings
- Perform routine cleaning of the equipment
- Train other employees as needed to run the loader
- Operate other mine equipment as needed
COMMUNICATION
- Communicate by phone/radio with plant control to understand ore types needed.
- Maintain radio communication with drivers and make them aware of possible safety hazards on the roads and stockpile areas.
QUALITY
- Prepare the ore at the stockpile by breaking it down to manageable size and drying the ore in windrows as weather allows.
