We are currently looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. Duties for this position will include but are not limited to:


Purpose:
To help as many people as possible while being efficient with time as well as effective with treatments. To help patients stay on treatment plans, referring to additional services as appropriate and maximizing the value of each patient.


Position Skills Required:

Rudimentary Understanding of:

  • McKenzie
  • Joint Mobilization
  • Soft Tissue Mobilization

Biomechanical Assessments for:

  • Gait
  • Squatting
  • Overhead motions
  • Scapular
  • Pelvic motions
  • Posture

Communication

  • Awareness scale
  • Tone scale
  • Anatomy of Dialogue
  • Primary Script

Anatomy of PT Visit

  • Knowledge of Occupational Stresses

Training Required: McKenzie, Sahrman, Mulligan, Joint Mobilizations, Proper documentation, Primary Script, ARC, Sexual Harassment, Anatomy of PT Visit, Flag system, DX Codes, Org Board.
