***Contract to Hire or Direct Hire****

Professional Staffing Services is looking for an experienced Paralegal with knowledge in Federal Court. It would be helpful to also have knowledge in Family, and some Civil Law areas as well. One who is punctual, organized, and has stellar time management doing the following tasks: Summarizing cases and preparing reports for the attorney, conducting research, investigating facts and developing legal arguments, drafting legal documents such as contracts, depositions and pleadings, preparing and filing documents with courts, organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases, keeping track of changes in legal framework and providing timely updates on these changes

Experience and Skills:

• 3-5 years' experience in a legal office setting
• Experience with Clio
• Experience with federal filing
• Knowledgeable in billing platforms and tracking attorney time
• Familiar with working on and searching court dockets.
• Ensure all case intake legal documents are processed, signed, and executed properly.

• Conveys confidence on the phone.
• Strong communication skills and highly organized.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Customer Service experience preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable using programs and software.
• Hours: 9-6 Monday through Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 per hour

• Altamonte Springs, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)
• Paralegal: 3 years (Preferred)
