EP Lab Tech – Travel
York, PA.
Blended Rate: $3800/wk - $4000/wk. ($95/hr - $100/hr.)
Stipend: $1099/wk.
40hrs – 5x8s or 4x10s – Days
** BLS,ACLS, 2 years’ experience. **

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated EP Lab Tech to join our team in York, PA. The EP Lab Tech will work under the direct supervision of a physician to perform both non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that are related to the heart's electrical system. Under general supervision, the Tech will provide technical support and assistance to the physician during Electrophysiology procedures, as well as perform scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, stimming, and circulating with all Electrophysiology procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols. The selected individual will also provide care and, assessment prior, during and post-procedural to patients and prepare and maintain all pertinent information related to procedures, ensuring this is all carried out at a high-quality of care!

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to the heart's electrical system, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), electrical recordings, and ablation procedures.
- Provide support to the physicians during procedures, including catheter placement, mapping, and recording.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate medication and intervention as needed.
- Ensure that all equipment in the lab is functioning properly, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of procedures and patient progress, and ensure that documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the training and education of other lab staff, including nurses, technicians, and trainees.
- Collaborate with the physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure that patient care is of the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the lab, and adhere to all infection control protocols.
