Job Overview

The Human Resources team is looking for a junior HR Talent Advisor to join an exciting team supporting the Investment Banking Division. This opportunity is great for someone who is looking to expand their HR knowledge base as it touches the full lifecycle of talent management including campus recruiting, training, program management and learning & development. You will work closely with both the Talent Acquisition team as well as the Investment Banking HR Business Partner team on a day-to-day basis. This position is a hybrid in-office / work from home opportunity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Campus Recruiting & Program Management
    • Oversee several Target school teams and their on-campus and virtual candidate experience strategies throughout the course of the recruiting seasons
    • Oversee key recruiting events including logistics, staffing, event preparations and execution
    • Maintain candidate pipelines and partner with Diversity TA Partner to identify key strategies to attract and engage diverse talent through the season
    • Plan and manage interview process including identifying high quality candidates, scheduling, staffing, feedback tracking, debrief meetings and selling offerees
    • Support components of the Summer Program including planning and attending events, supporting both stakeholders and bankers to ensure a positive and successful Summer experience
    • Tracking feedback throughout the Summer Program and frequently touching base with staffers and managers
    • Help to oversee the Training Programs for both Full Time and Summer with training vendor
  • HR & Learning and Development
    • Manage onboarding for all campus hires including background check, integration into workday and communications ahead of start dates
    • Assist with the delivery of people initiatives, including aligning performance, capability, talent and rewards through to business strategy
    • Partner with IB Business Partners to execute business-specific talent development efforts, such as coordinating talent and performance reviews
    • Supporting large-scale learning initiatives and providing logistical support to L&D initiatives, including material development, communications, scheduling, logistics, etc.
    • Provide HR Metrics to support new initiatives
    • Help with the implementation of new approaches, policies, and procedures effect continual improvements in efficiency of the IB HR group
    • Support the IB employee base by fielding day-to-day general HR question, serving as the first line of response in general questions
    • Aid with employee relations counseling and exit interviewing

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of campus recruiting, and HR experience required
  • Competency in Microsoft Office; Excel for reporting and analysis and PowerPoint for presentations
  • Working knowledge of Workday and Greenhouse preferred but not required
  • Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with, influence, and build relationships with multiple stakeholders and with HR colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Highly organized, strong project management and excellent follow-through
  • Team player who is dependable, enthusiastic, and has a positive attitude

The expected base salary ranges from $80,000 - $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
