If so, we are seeking a Jr. Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for aiding, resolving, and handling technical support requests ranging from basic user training to issues requiring in-depth technical and problem-solving skills. Individual will be part of the technical support team responsible for the corporate end user environment.


The Technical Support Engineer is highly motivated, results-oriented professional who will be focused on the configuration, and support of windows-based client systems. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for improving the security, stability and performance of the systems and applications.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Be entrepreneurial, self-directed technical expert that can work both independently and with the broader team.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, researching, tracking, and resolving technical problems.
  • Escalating issues and facilitating user assistance from third parties or other IT groups as needed.
  • Maintaining a level of knowledge and involvement in many aspects Berlin Packaging information systems environment.
  • Deploying, managing, and documenting a wide variety of IT devices and applications running primarily on Lenovo desktops, ThinkPad laptops, Apple mobile and computer devices, and Polycom Telephony Equipment.
  • Configuring and repairing workstations, laptops, IOT Devices and audio-visual equipment on a timely and independent basis.
  • Interacting independently with end users and meeting all assigned user support and IT project commitments.
  • Effectively working in a cooperative and collaborative global team environment.
  • Regular activities include desktop engineering and troubleshooting, coordinating with Senior Support Engineers, data cabling, systems administration in a Microsoft environment. Telecom/mobility administration, root cause analysis.
  • They must possess excellent customer service skills and be a first point of contact for support requests.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Associates degree or the equivalent work experience and certifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of helpdesk or internship experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory based users.
  • Experience supporting cloud based VOIP telecommunications such as Teams or Cisco.
  • Experience with DHCP, DNS, File services, Printer management, E-Mail administration.
  • Understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience using an IT ticketing or ITSM platform
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Multilingual a plus – Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch
  • At least one Industry related certification a plus – CompTIA certifications, Microsoft MCP or MCSA, Cisco CCNA or equivalent proctored certifications.

Working Environment:

  • Must have Valid Driver’s License
  • Business casual environment
  • Potential for a Hybrid work from home and in office environment after 60-day probationary period. Must report, in-office, 5 days a week during the probationary period and every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, thereafter. Remote work privileges are granted at the discretion of management and could be revoked or changed at any time.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required.
