We are currently looking for job coaches who will work with individuals of the program, assisting them with their daily living needs and providing support and encouragement to help them become more independent. Staff will also ensure the safety and comfort of all individuals with developmental disabilities and make sure that the individuals are engaged in meaningful activities throughout the day.

The direct care staff will work under the direction of a Team Lead in providing support to their assigned individuals. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with people with disabilities, enjoys teaching and mentoring, and has strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist individuals with personal hygiene occasionally

2. Must be okay with going on local walks in the community and outings

3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all individuals and staff members

4. Ability to provide for the safety and supervision at all times

5. Collect and compiling behavioral data efficiently

6. Assist individuals with performing routine activities of the day

7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and team leads

8. Provide encouragement to help individuals to become more independent.

9. Ensure that all applicable standards are being followed according to the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) standards of practice and Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC)

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.50/hour.
