Job Description
The 1st shift janitor will provide cleaning service throughout the facility, concentrating on high use areas such as trash at all workstations through the building, bath rooms, break room, etc. Sweeping throughout, mopping bathrooms, and breakroom, cleaning breakroom tables, counter tops, stove and microwaves. Replenishment of paper towels in dispensers, and soap in all dispensers, etc. Requesting supplies as they are used to a minimum.
Janitor Qualifications
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
- Good verbal communication skills, report problem in areas worked for corrective action
- Dependable
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Honest hard working and pays attention to detail
- Maintain composure in difficult situations
- Attendance is an essential function of this job
- Works well with others
- Ability to work at a high level with minimal supervision
- Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Pay Range:
$18.92 - $29.44
