Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to join our excellent team at the brand new 1.2M sqft facility in Richmond, VA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

• 1st Shift Monday-Thursday: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $19.50/per hour

Major Responsibilities:

• Job requirements may include the following where applicable:
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in the warehouse, offices, break room and bathrooms.
• Empty and replace trash and recycle containers in the warehouse
• Stock sanitation supplies in break area and restrooms
• Used approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces
• Operate dock sweeper and dock scrubber to keep floor clean
• Change batteries on powered industrial trucks (pallet jacks, reach trucks, stand-ups)
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Dusting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Sanitation experience required

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required

• Flexible to work overtime preferred

• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
