The Home Building Group is actively searching for an Industrial / Manufacturing Janitor to join the team in Sacramento, CA. Due to COVID 19, we are increasing our cleaning procedures and the primary responsibilities of the janitor will be to handle daily sanitation of common use areas among team members. This position will be part-time at 20 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors, multiple times a day
• Cleaning of break room tables and team member areas throughout the workday
• Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces
• Clean restrooms 2+ times daily, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls
• Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap
• Clean entrance glass and other interior glass
• Work effectively with other team members
• Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, time & attendance
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners
• Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liner
• Clean designated smoking area daily
• Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility
• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member
• Must care about quality
• Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace
• Must be reliable
• Able to lift 35 lbs
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
