Logoplaste is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the team in Inwood, WV (USA)
Reporting directly to the IT Service Manager you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Infrastructure environments deployed within Logoplaste Network and supporting users and user devices
This position will integrate the second line support team, that assures the support for all systems, networks and security, actively participate on all IT projects, but also giving first line support to the local and remote users. We are looking for a person that will focus mainly in Network, VMware environment and Projects. Nevertheless the support of Windows and Linux Systems will be also part of the role.
Key Tasks & Activities…
- Accesses remotely to IT devices
- Manages and supports Office 365 users and applications
- Deploys operating systems in computers
- Actively participate on IT projects, mainly on network and VMware environment
- Properly identify, debug, and solve technical problems for local and remote sites
- Provide first and second-line support either for Network, VMware environment or Linux and Windows Servers
- Recommend, design and implement new solutions or procedures to improve the resilience, efficiency and security of the network
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Who we are looking for…
Background and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same or similar position
- Strong knowledge of networks and VMware environment
- Experience in project management and implementation of complex networks
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of networks and addressing concepts
- Strong knowledge of Cisco eco-system (Switching, Routing, Identity Services – NAC, Firewalls, Wifi)
- Strong knowledge of VMware environment (ESXi, vSphere)
- Proven knowledge in network design and implementation
- Good knowledge of WAN networks and SSL VPN
- Good knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Proven experience conducting IT network and security analysis, troubleshooting and debugging, including the ability to perform root cause analysis;
- Experience managing Linux and Windows Servers, Office 365 and Azure Services.

- Excellent Team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach

- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to the current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
- Good communication, flexibility and reliability;
- Availability to travel frequently.
