Avets, a 24-hour veterinary emergency & specialty hospital located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is looking to expand out team to include IT support. You can be an important part of providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them in our area.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Support and maintenance of our technology infrastructure and practice management software. Resolves issues through problem solving and research.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of software used throughout the facility.
• Maintaining hardware and software applications.
• Resolving network and connectivity issues with the support of corporate IT team.
• Replace hardware such as; disk drives, printers, cables, scanners, etc.
• Manage internal help desk tickets and elevate issues to shared services IT Team as necessary.
• Perform warranty service, preventative maintenance and cleaning on all computer equipment.
• Troubleshoot general network issues.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as an IT support technician or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organization and time-management skills.

During the normal work day, you will occasionally lift and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds of computer equipment. You will frequently lift and/or push/pull up to 25 pounds.

Occasional weekend/evening availability for Emergency IT issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
