Job description
Wysocki Family of Companies (WFC) is seeking a full-time Irrigation Maintenance Technician to join our team. Primary responsibilities will include the maintenance of our Irrigation systems including pivots, wheels, electrical components and fault finding in a shop setting. Other maintenance duties include various types of agricultural equipment such as skid steers, tractors, trailers, and boom trucks. This role will also have support duties to operate a group of pivot irrigation systems servicing growing crops on some weekends.
In farming, teamwork is at the forefront of all we do! Our team works together to get the job and you may learn something new during planting or harvest. We are seeking positive minded candidates that have the ability to adapt to changing plans in crop farming.
Schedule:
November through March: Work (4) 10-hour days
April through November: Work (5) days with rotating weekends during growing season
Bancroft, WI is an approximate 20-30 minute drive from the Stevens Point/Plover & Wisconsin Rapids area.

What do you need?
- High School Diploma/or GED
- Three years+(plus) maintenance/mechanic experience with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Requires a driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Basic mechanical skills to change tires, u-joints, gear boxes or wheel boxes.
- General knowledge of electricity is preferred.
- Fabrication experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use various types of technology systems such as E-Maintenance, mobile technology, and diagnostics scanners to use and interpret any mechanical or electrical issues.
