Your role with us:

As an Inventory Specialist for Pearson Packaging Systems you will receive, stock, perform cycle counts, prepare and ship customer orders, and perform all the functions necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of parts. You will receive and inspect materials delivered as a result of purchase orders, match the goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and manufacturer’s part number to ensure correct parts and quantities are processed.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control procedures and techniques in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments
  • Demonstrated ability to work with computerized ERP system and to perform basic mathematical computations
  • Demonstrated organizational skills required to maintain and organized and professional work area
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and share the values of the organization as expressed in Pearson’s vision statement
  • Able to lift over 50 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory control functions in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift training and experience
