ELS is hiring for the position of Inventory Manager in Tampa, Florida.

What You’ll Do

Manage the inventory and title process of all homes in the East Region, in addition to reviewing sales commission.

Your Job Will Include

  • Oversee and support team to ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing title and certificate of origin (MCO) documents.
  • Coordinate transfer of titles when needed with title company.
  • Oversee and support team to ensure accurate and timely processing of home sale closing packets and rental packets for commission processing.
  • Review all data in Back Office Inventory (BOI) to ensure all Home Tracking Number (HTN) requests are issued timely.
  • Work with the construction department and set up all HTN records in BOI for all new home orders and ensure all requests are completed timely.
  • Review and approve all used home and brokerage homes requests in BOI.
  • Create and update Budgets as requested/approved in BOI.
  • Track home costs to maintain projects within budget
  • Reconcile inventory costs.
  • Follow-up and communicate with other Regional and Home Office departments as needed.
  • Communicate with properties to confirm delivery, certificate of occupancy (CO) and ready for occupancy (RFO) dates of new homes and ensure BOI is updated accordingly.
  • Maintain a tracking system for registration renewals within BOI and ensure renewals are processed timely.
  • Support properties, operations and sales on any BOI, title or commission payment questions.
  • Run and analyze reports from BOI to track inventory and confirm data is accurate.
  • Attend and participate as needed, in all requested construction, inventory, and sales calls.
  • Review and process invoices from construction vendors.
  • Create efficiencies within the department.

Experience & Skills You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong process improvement skills and ability to create efficiencies
  • Experience with titles, construction, inventory tracking is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience with Office 365 products
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight time constraints.
  • Can exercise initiative on work projects
  • Successful in a team environment and independently.
