United Fleet Management seeks an Inventory Administrative Assistant for our West Valley City location. Candidates must be self-motivated, committed to providing quality customer service, and able to operate in a fast-paced team environment. A strong work ethic and the highest level of integrity and professionalism are required. Compensation is $18 per hour, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers. This includes but is not limited to:

Vehicle Damage Management

  • Maintains vehicle damage database for all UFM locations
    • Uploads data onto tablets for final inspections
    • Audits inventory software to ensure vehicle status is correct
    • Inputs mileage on mileage tracker when the vehicle gets turned in
    • Follows up with repair vendors and insurance claims

Customer Communication

  • Alerts customers of damage charge via phone and email
  • Collects customer damage payments and sends receipt
  • Partners with the Accounting Office on damage payments
  • Communicates with customers to get repair authorization and confirms insurance involvement

Vehicle Management

  • Process vehicle keys to and from vault, tagging incoming keys from swaps
  • Rinse trucks for final inspection
  • Assist with bringing trucks to and from various vendors
  • Assist Vehicle Damage Manager as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid driver's license and professional appearance. Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, & Excel is desired. Must be organized, accurate, and detail-oriented. This position will need to be comfortable moving trucks and be in inclement weather.
