DESCRIPTION
Exciting opportunity for a creative, Behavioral Health leader to lead a new program for UCSD. This is a Manager position entrusted with setting up and managing Interventional Psychiatry services including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) ECT and Ketamine treatments. Knowledge of treatment-resistant depression and at risk Psychiatry populations is essential. Includes supervision of at least 2 staff and collaboration with a variety of other Managers and Services. Relationship with educational and research teams also is expected. Will be directly reporting to the Director of Psychiatry Operations. Required travel between all sites of UCSD. Education and marketing duties will be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
Five (5+) or more years of relevant experience.
Behavioral Health experience (either clinical, educational, or research)
Experience and proven success in effectively supervising a team and manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with social work services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed in a behavioral health counseling discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work with patient experience improvement.
- Spanish speaking or other language
- Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) teams as a provider or Manager.
- Experience with the TMS companies and their products (ie Brainsway, Northstar or/ and Magventure).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $71,000 - $160,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $34.00 - $76.63
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
