Provides direct child support case management services to a caseload as assigned by the Child Support Administrator (Deputy Director). Responsible for the direct supervision of all CSEA Enforcement Case Managers to ensure Enforcement Case Managers consistently, effectively and efficiently engage in obtaining child and medical support payments. Other duties include the supervision of CSEA Supervisors with the exception of the CSEA’s Legal Department Supervisor/Manager. Additional responsibilities may include organization and completion of the yearly IRS trainings and report, the annual statewide Child Support Self-Assessment, Web Portal and KITE system (communication with inmates in our jail) management, the onboarding of new staff members, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Support Administrator (Deputy Director).
35% Provides direct child support case management to a caseload as assigned by the Child Support Administrator (Deputy Director). Responsibilities could include managing child support cases utilizing the Ohio Office of Child Support's SETS computer system database. Identifies delinquent cases that may require administrative and court enforcement techniques to encourage support payments. Corresponds with customers to process changes in address, phone number, medical insurance, and employment. Provides payment reminders and works with customers to identify obstacles to employment and connect them with relevant resources and employment opportunities in an effort to reach support order compliance.
25% Direct supervision of all CSEA Enforcement Case Managers to ensure Enforcement Case Managers consistently, effectively and efficiently engage in obtaining child and medical support payments (e.g., assigns and reviews work; evaluates employee work performance in a uniform manner; trains and orients employees; recommends and/or authorizes leaves; recommends or initiates disciplinary actions; etc.); directs and coordinates new and existing support enforcement operations and office functions; helps develops unit uniform work procedures and ensures that assignments are completed in accordance with federal and state laws and rules.
25% Responsibilities include organization and completion of the yearly IRS trainings and report, the annual statewide Child Support Self-Assessment, Web Portal and KITE system (communication with inmates in our jail) management, the onboarding of new staff members, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Support Administrator (Deputy Director).
10% Direct supervision of all CSEA Supervisors who oversee Intake Case Managers, Modification Case Managers, Termination, and Finance Case Managers.
5% Along with other CSEA Managers, serves as a defacto proxy for the CSEA Deputy Director when appropriate.
