CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Byers’ Choice Ltd, home of the Christmas Caroler® figurines, is one of the largest hand crafted producers of Christmas decorations in America. Byer’s Choice Ltd. is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative. This position will use positive energy and social skills to provide outstanding Customer Service and Order Processing to potential and existing customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Utilize effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills to meet sales goals.

· Develop business relationships with established accounts, demonstrating commitment to the customer through the entire sales cycle.

· Identify sales opportunities and act on referrals in a timely manner, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency in following up on quotes and leads.

· Utilize Byers’ Choice CRM system to identify selling opportunities, record daily activities, and facilitate transaction follow up.

· Handle new order entry and processing, as well as changes to existing orders, to support wholesale and retail customers.

· Provide product knowledge and support literature by mail and electronically.

· Support various accounting and clerical functions as they relate to the customer service department and demonstrate flexibility in supporting other needs throughout the company.

· Support the on-site retail shop in various ways; working the floor and register as needed.

· Special event support on-site; requires occasional weekends through the 4thquarter (no more than five)

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Personal Attributes Qualifications:

· Personable and professional with a positive attitude.

· Proven experience in customer service or sales preferred.

· Comfortable with warm calls to educate, sell, and support existing wholesale customers as well as cold calling to prospective customers.

· Ability to work independently to prioritize, initiate, and manage job responsibilities.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word and Excel.

· Must be available for some weekend work during the busy season and special events, although these occasions are rare.

· Must possess strong communication skills, initiating telephone and/or email communication to articulate product value to a wide range of potential prospects and existing accounts.

· Must have strong organizational and prioritization capability to use time wisely to increase effectiveness while maintaining a thorough, high quality process with respect for the customer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per hour
