Job description
This position is for the Cook County Bureau of Technology
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate is required.
- Six (6) years of full-time work experience in one of the following fields: technical security control architecture and design; information security solutions engineering; security solutions engineering; security technology implementation; security service delivery; or security application development is required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree is required.
- Four (4) years of full-time work experience in one of the following fields: technical security control architecture and design; information security solutions engineering; security solutions engineering; security technology implementation; security service delivery; or security application development is required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Two (2) years of full-time work experience in one of the following fields: technical security control architecture and design; information security solutions engineering; security solutions engineering; security technology implementation; security service delivery; or security application development is required.
- Valid drivers' license is required.
- An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH); Global Information Assurance Certification Incident Handler (GCIH); or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications; Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Payment Card Industry (PCI); Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX); International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001; Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA); or the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
