About the Role

As an Information Security Engineer, you will help strengthen Ariat’s security posture by improving our information security tooling and processes. You will play a key role in driving enhancements to the company’s infrastructure and defending Ariat from internal and external threats.

Please Note: Ariat's corporate headquarters will be relocating from Union City, CA to San Leandro, CA spring of 2023.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Assessing security tools and integrate tools as needed
• Developing, improving and documenting Ariat’s security stack
• Automating security activities
• Helping define and implement Ariat’s Identity and Access Management systems
• Testing existing security controls
• Supporting the security monitoring activities
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• Strong team player, experienced in working in a virtual setup
• Knowledge on the following tools: Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender stack, Palo Alto firewalls, Darktrace, Rapid7 Platform, Tenable
• Ability to script in Power Shell, Python and/or Bash
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience
• 4 to 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and/or system development

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
