Are you an early career Human Resources professional, excited to grow your career in the manufacturing industry, and ready to take the next career step? As the Human Resources Generalist at The Carlstar Group, a specialty tire plant, you will be actively fielding employee HR-related questions, owning recruiting processes, managing payroll, and collaborating with other team members to best serve the plant. This is a true generalist role, encompassing a broad scope of HR-related activities, with lots of room to identify problems and provide creative solutions to bring real change within the organization.     • 2+ years HR Generalist Experience Minimum
    • Bachelors Degree in HR or Business.
    • Ability to be sensitive to corporate and business needs
      as well as employee goodwill.
    • Comfortable explaining benefit options to employees and present options plant wide during open enrollment
    • Ability to utilize computer skills in a Microsoft Windows
      environment including data entry, database
      management, and proficient in Microsoft Office
      software.
    • Ability to provide oral, and written communication to all
    • levels of employees within the Company.
    • Ability to practice of a high level of confidentiality.
    • Ability to objectively coach employees through complex, difficult, and emotional

    • 5+ years HR Generalist Experience Preferred
    • Manufacturing Preferred.
    • PHR certification is preferred.
    • Experience in the administration of benefits and
    • compensation programs and other Human Resources
    • programs.
    • Ability to stay current with employment law changes.
    • Payroll experience
    • Experience working with staffing agencies
    • Experience working with educational institutions for trained labor

    • Microsoft Office.
